CEO, Jeff Steckler, stated; "This is a huge step towards gaining the recognition as an industry leader in the San Joaquin Valley Region. We have a great team of therapists and support staff that made this happen. We have a high respect in the medical community for meeting the rehabilitation needs in the community, and now we have the recognition." "We have worked diligently to get into compliance with all the ordinances and regulations that both the State Department of Health and Centers for Medicare/Medicaid require for this distinction. I am proud of this group and feel very blessed to have the privilege and honor of working with these guys and gals", added Steckler regarding the staff at Progressive Therapy Services.
Medicare Certification as a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility requires the facility to pass an extremely rigid inspection and survey of high standards, completed by the State Department of Health. Once passed, this allows the facility acceptance into virtually all rehabilitation organizations established by the industry. It sets apart the industry leaders from others, as it requires strict adherence to quality of care policy and procedures.
